An outbreak of Legionnaires disease was recently reported by Orange County officials, causing the shutdown of two cooling towers at Disneyland’s park in Southern California.  More than 8,000 people are hospitalized every year in the US due to this disease.

NuEnergen encourages cooling tower owners to make sure that their cooling towers are clean and are in safe condition.  We also encourage you to talk to our cooling tower credits (CTC) experts to learn how New York City DEP cooling tower credits can offset maintenance & service costs with a credit of up to 85% for water used in cooling towers.
